Paolo Michele Sonvilla
Paolo Michele Sonvilla is a senior manager at CREARA. Paolo started his professional career in the telecommunications sector, working in several European countries on the development and commercial launch of mobile telecommunications devices. After completing his MBA studies in 2006, Paolo gained interest in the sustainable energy and energy efficiency sectors. In this field, he has authored several research studies, developed successful project proposals, and led activities in European projects, collaborating with several organisations such as eclareon, BSW-Solar, EPIA and Dena. Currently, Paolo is the project coordinator of the Horizon 2020 Trust EPC South project, aimed at scaling up Energy Performance Contract investments in southern European countries.
At Creara, Paolo is in charge of the development and management of international projects (such as those of the Horizon 2020 and other transnational R&I programmes) and other European public procurement tenders, focused on energy efficiency, smart grids and sustainable energy resources. Paolo holds a MSc in Electronic Engineering (1999, University of Trieste, Italy) and a Master of Business Administration (2006, INSEAD, France).
