Karima is currently leading FLEXICIENCY project on behalf of the French DSO, Enedis (formerly ERDF), focusing on Electricity Meter Data exchange at European level. Karima joined EDF in 1990, as a researcher on computational sciences. Then she switched to Power System Economy and joined the French TSO, RTE, in 2001. From 2007 to 2010, Karima managed a team at EDF R&D, dealing with distribution network reliability, while integrating smart grids.
Before joining Enedis in 2015, Karima was head of energy management and future grid activities within EDF Energy based in London.
Karima holds a PhD in mathematics from Paris 6.
