Project Coordinator of the Interflex Project
Christian has been working in the field of power system optimization for more than 20 years. He graduated from RWTH Aachen University/Germany and Ecole Centrale Paris/France and holds a PhD in power systems engineering from Ecole des Mines Paris. Christian started his industrial career with EDF, first in the R&D division as a project manager of innovative solar PV technologies. He then joined the Development branch, where he was in charge of identifying investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar) and later worked in EDF's Insular Power System division, where he was responsible for the connection of the massively arriving independent power producers (mainly solar) to the island grids. He then moved to the solar equipment manufacturer Schott Solar as business development director for the French and North African markets. Christian returned to EDF in 2013 where he was in charge of a major smartgrid project (Millener) aiming at the grid integration of distributed PV-battery systems for enhanced power system regulation. Christian lately joined Enedis as a coordinator of the InterFlex project.
