Bertrand De Singly

Bertrand de Singly has an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. He also holds degrees from Ecole polytechnique and from Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussees-ParisTech (the French national civil engineering school).
After two years working for Dalkia and Capgemini, he was put in charge of opening up the gas market to competition at the Ministry of Industry, from 2001-2003. He worked at the French Treasury from 2004-2005: he was Deputy Secretary General of CIRI (the Interministerial Committee on Industrial Restructuring) and was in charge of monitoring financially-distressed companies. He served as advisor on Industrial Redeployment to the offices of the Minister of the Economy and of the Minister of Industry. From 2007-2009, he oversaw two building sites for the Vinci Group. Subsequently, he joined the office of Prime Minister as advisor on energy and environmental affairs. After 3 years in a strategy advisory company he joined GRDF as Head of Strategy unit in November 2015.
