Bart Verhelst received his Master in Industrial Sciences degree in Electromechanics – Electrotechnical Engineering from the Technical University College HoWest, Kortrijk, Belgium, in 2004, and received his Masters degree in Industrial Management from the University of Ghent, Ghent, Belgium, in 2009. Bart Verhelst started his carrier in 2004 in research group Lemcko – University college Kortrijk where he performed research in several national and international projects mainly in the field of power quality, renewables and electrotechnical engineering. From 2009 on he was responsible for the services to industry department of the research lab which was adopted by Ghent University in 2012. In 2014 he founded Karybel as spin off of Ghent University. Karybel is specialized in solving electrical problems with a specific specialization in Power Quality. He is one of the specialists in the field of power quality in Belgium and abroad.
