The Parker Project – Grid Integrated Electric Vehicles
Stream locationTheatre ERE
In the Parker project, The technical University and Its partners cooperate with vehicle and charging spot manufactures to ensure that contemporary electric vehicles can contribute to a stable and economical power system based on renewable energy. The OEM partners include car brands Nissan, Peugeot, Citroën and Mitsubishi. The presentation will describe the project and provide a status on how system services are currently demonstrated using series-produced electric vehicles supporting vehicle-to-grid (V2G).
- Exploring system services provided by electric vehicles across different vehicle brands and models.
- Definition of grid keys, describing the electrical properties, and the associated performance needed in electric vehicles to qualify as “grid integrated”
- How we may ensure the solutions currently explored in Denmark can be replicated in other regions of Europe and to other user groups – and understand the market and system scalability impacts of such solution.
